Critical action needed: Stop OMB's political review of federal grants

2 Steps to Take to Stop the Proposed OMB Rule!

Defend Public Health is looking for commitments from our members to take the following steps to stop the OMB Rule:

1.Write and submit comments. Share your comments with your members of Congress and with Defend Public Health (resources that can help you are below).

2.Follow the link below and write to your members of Congress today!

3.Enlist 5 other people to join you and take these actions.

Tips for writing comments:

1) Introduce yourself (concerned citizen works well)

2) Choose a provision/section (and include the number) of the proposed rule that concerns you the most

3) Explain how it will affect you, your family, your community

4) Tell OMB to strike that section and all the proposed changes

5) If the Regulations.gov website says "closed for comments,” keep refreshing and trying until it is back up and running

*Note - It is more important to get a massive number of comments submitted than to have perfectly written comments. Don’t let this intimidate you. Every comment is needed and important. Give it your best shot and get it done.

Once you write and submit your comment, please SAVE it on your computer. Share it with Defend Public Health HERE. Then, share with your elected officials - members of Congress, Governor, state legislators, Mayor, City/County Councils too!

If you haven't done it already, click here to take 5 minutes to

Write to Congress
