Communications

The Communications committee manages all aspects of Defend Public Health's external communications and assists with internal communications, working to bring our views in front of the public and raise DPH's profile. We manage our website and social media accounts, handle outreach to journalists, field interview requests, assist our members in writing and placing opinion columns, and conduct trainings for our members on subjects such as op-ed writing and media interview skills. We work with allied organizations in planning joint communications campaigns and assist the coordinating committee in planning newsletters and other internal communications.
