Take a Stand on Short-term Funding Measure -- Contact Congress NOW!
Congress is currently considering a short-term funding measure (CR) to keep the government running past midnight on September 30, the end of the current fiscal year. In conversation with key congressional staff, DPH policy experts and partners, DPH issued a letter to House and Senate Leaders earlier today. We believe it is time to stand up for our public health and healthcare system and stop policies that are wreaking havoc at all levels.
Please take 5 minutes TODAY to send letters to your Senators and Representative with these important demands. The short-term CR MUST permanently extend the premium tax credits established under the Affordable Care Act, extend FY25 funding, and require the administration to award funds consistent with appropriations made by Congress and signed into law.
