Defend Public Health has filed a new Amicus brief in support of the American Academy of Pediatrics and other medical groups in litigation in their lawsuit against HHS Secretary Kennedy's effective destruction of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices

Defend Public Health opposes in no uncertain terms a recently-proposed OMB rule that would require political review of all federal funding. This unprecedented step will undermine expert peer review of research grants and take the power of the purse away from Congress.

Defend Public Health is running a campaign to oppose the OMB grantmaking rule that will cede control of federal funding to Russell Vought and his stable of political appointees, and sideline expert review of grants.
