Dispelling Trump Administration Disinformation About the Dietary Guidelines for Americans

Defend Public Health strongly discourages the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the production of any op-eds, articles, presentations, policy briefs or other materials. AI-generated content may be false, misleading or inaccurate; contain copyrighted material; inadvertently disclose confidential information or data; or even be made up (“AI hallucinations”). DPH is responsible for any material that is published under its name.

However, because we recognize that there are certain circumstances in which AI may be useful, we have established a set of guardrails for such limited use, which are spelled out here.
